Dinosaur Designs is Australia's iconic contemporary design brand, creating handcrafted resin jewellery and homewares from our Sydney studio for over 40 years. We are seeking passionate and experienced Casual Retail Associates to join our newest Melbourne store at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small, supportive team representing a uniquely Australian design brand. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about creating memorable customer experiences, take pride in their presentation, and thrive in a collaborative retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and personalised styling advice.
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients while achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintaining beautiful visual merchandising and presentation standards.
  • Supporting daily store operations, stock management and housekeeping.
  • Representing the Dinosaur Designs brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and care.

To succeed in this role, you will

  • A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably within fashion, jewellery, beauty or a premium/luxury retail environment.
  • A genuine passion for Australian design, art and craftsmanship.
  • A warm, confident and professional approach to client service.
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • A strong sense of personal style and a polished presentation that reflects the Dinosaur Designs brand.
  • A willingness to embrace and maintain our company expectations for personal styling, visual presentation and customer experience.
  • A reliable, flexible and accountable approach to your work.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a small team and contribute positively to the store's success.

Availability

This role requires availability across a minimum of three days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
