Designed by Co-Founders and Creative Directors, Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy, Dinosaur Designs introduces its new collection Beehive. Inspired by the hues and shapes of a honey-filled hive, Beehive showcases a range of handmade resin jewellery and homewares in a glowing palette of reds, orange and yellow.

Beehive's hand-mixed colour palette features rich, warm tones that flow harmoniously across the collection’s designs. Alongside classic colours of Chalk Swirl, Pollen and Cappuccino, the collection introduces Crimson, Lava and Tangerine - three new hero colours in earthy shades of reds and orange that reflect the collection’s theme while also thoughtfully tying back to the Australian terrain that so often inspires Dinosaur Designs.

“For Beehive, we knew we wanted the collection’s focus to be on warm reddy tones. For inspiration we returned to the familiarity and beauty of Australian nature, resulting in a curation of earthy reds reminiscent of ochre clays and dusty central deserts”, explains Louise Olsen.

The collection’s homewares feature a curation of vases and tableware cast in the new Beehive palette. Accompanying a range of returning classic resin styles, the Beehive Vase makes a bold return with the style’s offering growing to four hive-inspired shapes. Dinosaur Designs’ glass and metal homewares collections also welcome new additions, with Pebble Jars reimagined in polished brass and classic resin vase shapes now available in blown glass.

The Beehive jewellery offers playful pops of colour with handmade polished resin beads threaded onto layered necklaces and drop-style earrings, featuring polished brass hardware that further enhances the rich golden palette. Hive-like forms also make an appearance within the jewellery range, with the new Beehive Bangle showcasing a bold, stackable silhouette.

Photographed by Pierre Toussaint and styled by Ilkin Kurt and Heleena Trahanas, Beehive’s campaign celebrates the collection’s vivid colours and striking forms. In front of the lens model Matilda Dods appears in a series of portraits that showcase the versatility of Dinosaur Designs’ jewellery.
