Treated with the same love and care with which it was made, and by following the simple care guide below, your new Dinosaur object should last you a lifetime. Please ensure you carefully read all information on the care and maintenance of your Dinosaur product.
RESIN JEWELLERY CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs resin jewellery is hand made in Australia with tender loving care. Each piece is unique, and when treated with care will last forever. Resin is strong and durable and should be treated as a ceramic, as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. To restore sheen, apply moisturiser.
PEARL JEWELLRY CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur designs jewellery featuring pearls are hand made in Australia with love and care. Pearls are organic by nature, grown in water form a living creature. Like their organic ‘owners’, pearls are prone to damage from pollution and injury and must be handled with respect and care to maintain colour, shape, and lustre. They are easily damaged by chemicals, so please remove pearl jewellery before applying cosmetics, hairspray and perfume. Do not wear whilst showering or swimming. Heat and dry air can also damage pearls, so please store these items carefully in a fabric pouch away from sunlight when not being worn. Some acids present on your skin may be absorbed by the pearl, changing the lustre and shape. To slow this process, wipe the pearls after wearing with a soft cloth. A drop of olive oil on the cloth may help the pearls to retain their lustre.
GEM STONE JEWELLERY CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs gem stone and resin jewellery is hand made in Australia with tender loving care. Each piece is unique, each stone is hand selected, and each piece is individually shaped to suit the stone. Resin is strong and durable, but should be treated as a ceramic, as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. If treated with care it will last forever. Dinosaur Designs gem pieces feature Turquoise, Agate, Petrified wood, Malachite, Jasper, Chrysocolla, Chrysoprase, Tigers eye, Moukaite, Zebra stone, Lapis and Gold stone.
RESIN HOMEWARES CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs resin homewares are hand made in Australia with tender loving care. They are safe for food presentation and the pieces are dishwasher safe to 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). Resin may become frosted after washing, and should be rubbed with a drop of cooking oil to restore the sheen. Resin is strong and durable, and should be treated with care like a ceramic, as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Resin is not fire resistant, so do not use as an ashtray. Resin is not indestructible, but when treated with care will last forever.
FINE HOMEWARES CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur designs fine resin homewares are hand made in Australia with love and care. They are safe for cold food presentation only. These products should not be soaked in hot water or washed in a dishwasher, as this may distort their shape. Resin may become frosted after washing, and should be rubbed with a drop of cooking oil to restore sheen. HAND BLOWN GLASS CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs glass vases are hand blown in Australia with tender loving care. Each piece is unique, and when treated with care will last forever. Glass is a fragile material, so please take care when handling. When filling with water hold the vase at the base and fill slowly. Sand blasted vases may be rubbed with moisturiser to restore sheen if they appear frosted on the surface. Shiny glass vases may be cleaned with glass cleaner.
STERLING SILVER CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs sterling silver is hand made in Australia with tender loving care. Sterling silver is naturally a soft metal; so treat your purchase with special care to avoid scratching. If tarnishing occurs, you may use a silver cloth to restore sheen or scotch bright pad to restore a matt finish.
PRECIOUS METAL CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs use sterling silver, 9ct Gold and Brass in our range of precious metal jewellery. Each piece is hand made in Australia with tender loving care. Silver, Gold and Brass may become scratched, tarnished and dull over time and with exposure to air. Wipe jewellery with a soft cloth after wear to restore sheen, and store in a protective bag. Avoid exposing the pieces to perfume, oils and household chemicals. If tarnishing occurs, wipe with a jewellery cleaning cloth, or with a suitable cleaning agent.
PORCELAIN CARE INFORMATION
Dinosaur Designs porcelain homewares are hand made in Australia with love and care. They are microwave and dishwasher safe, and can be used directly from the oven to the table. Porcelain is a fragile material so please handle with care, as it can crack or chip when dropped or knocked. When treated with care this product will last forever.
